Mr. Kong ChinChief Human Resources Officer

Mr. Chin is the Chief Human Resources Officer responsible for all aspects of the human resources policy and operations for EFD Group. Mr. Chin has over 30 years of management experience working for US and Europe leading multinational corporations in the Asia Pacific region. A seasoned human resources leader, he is specialized in organization and talent development, succession planning, change management, and leadership development at the senior level of the organization.

Mr. Chin lived and worked in the US and many Asia countries including China, Hong Kong, Malaysia, and the Philippines before settling down in Singapore. Experiences and exposures gained from these international assignments had given him an in-depth understanding of the diverse cultures, work ethics, and management philosophy in different countries. These experiences made him a highly sought-after leader for coaching and mentoring the young talents in the previous organizations.

Prior to joining EFD Group, Mr. Chin was the Group Human Resources Director for the largest privately owned animal feed company in the ASEAN region. He was also the Head of Talent and Organization Development for the largest pharmaceutical distribution company in the Asia Pacific region. To address the shortage of locally trained talents in the region, he established corporate universities in Singapore, Beijing & Shanghai China, and Bangaluru India for several US multinational organizations.

Mr. Chin holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the State University of New York at Stony Brook and studied MBA at Hofstra University, New York before relocated back to Asia.
