EFD GROUP is operating CITY CEMENT PLANT (Pyi Nyaung) which has two new dry-process cement production lines with production capacity of 6,000 metric tons per day each near Pyi Nyaung village, Tharsi Township, Meikhtila District, Mandalay Region. The project, with total investment of the project is approx. USD 600 million, is built to international standard cement plant. The construction of the first line is expected to be completed by the end of 2021 and will be the largest cement plant in Myanmar.

In addition, EFD GROUP is also planning to invest in another two dry process cement production lines with a daily output capacity of 10,000 metric tons each. The total investment value of this project is estimated to be USD 760 million.
